In Q2 2022, the top navigation and maps apps on Android in South America exhibited notable trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive overview of their performance.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 253K in mid-April. The app saw fluctuations in downloads but remained above 180K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users started at approximately 3.97M and saw a slight decline to around 3.89M by the end of June.

Google Earth also reported significant activity with weekly downloads reaching up to 110K in early May. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, starting at about 547K and peaking at approximately 594K in mid-June.
